Larry A. Petras, 78, of Monongahela, Carroll Township, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born June 5, 1941, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Lydia Pink Petras. A resident of Carroll Township, Mr. Petras was a retired electrician from David Jones Electric, Belle Vernon. Larry was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed shooting at various target ranges, enjoyed golfing and vacationing at the beach. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Janet Petras of Carroll Township; a daughter, Laura Petras of Jefferson Township; four grandchildren, Rachel Petras, Matthew Petras, Victoria Dulla and Elizabeth Dulla; and a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jeannetta ‘Tippy’ Petras of Fairmont, W.Va. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. Huber Petras. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and state mandate, visitation and services will be private for the family. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Charleroi.
