Donald Edward Law Sr., 75, Monongahela, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020, in his home with his wife of nearly 52 years, Sandra Georgetta Law, by his side and surrounded by family members. Donald, the son of the late Rachel Price Law and the late William Roderick Law, was born on May 29, 1944, in New Eagle Hospital. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Jeffrey Law and William R. Law Jr. As a child and young man, Donald had a love for the game of baseball and played catcher in the Donora Pony leagues, helping to foster his love for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Donald had a passion for all sports in the city of Pittsburgh, especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Donald was a 1962 Donora High School graduate. After high school, Donald went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force as a as security detail personnel. After serving his tour with the Air Force, Donald came home and worked at various institutions until he eventually worked for the Clairton Works steel mill and then retired. Donald loved the Lord and served as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Donora and was a servant in a variety of roles since 1994. He loved traveling, photography and taking photos of memories for his family. Most of all, Donald loved his family and had great hopes for every member of his family. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all. Throughout his illness he had faith and as a Christian trusted that the Lord would carry him through his illness. Donald will be missed by his wife, Sandra G. Law; daughters, Rosemary D. Law and Tiffany D. Law; sons, Donald E. Law II and Clarence W. Law; nieces and nephews along with 17 grandchildren (all his favorites and #1); and great-grands in the works; as well as his beloved sister, Norma and husband Lewis Jenkins in Oak Park, Ill.
