Mary Lytton – Monessen

Mary Lytton, 99, of Monessen, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 10, 2020, at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh. She was born on July 17, 1920, in Connellsville, to the late Robert and Alice Lytton. Mary worked as a homemaker and touched so many lives. She was such a loving and caring person and was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church in Monessen. She was the mother of the church and was very active wherever needed. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, Curtis Davis of Monongahela; Robert Jayner of Dover, Pa.; Cathy Floyd of Pittsburgh; Patricia Davis of Washington, Pa.; Gloria Reo of Florida; Ricco Floyd of Pittsburgh; Wilma Floyd of Pittsburgh; Vivian Warrington, Anthony Warrington and Gary Warrington all from Canton, Ohio; Chester Artis of South Carolina; Gina Artis, William Artis, Dennis Artis and Denise Artis all from Ohio; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for family will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, April 17, 2020, at the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen, PA 15062. Funeral service will begin at noon with Minister Millie Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the William R. Taylor Funeral Home, Trudy L. Taylor, director in charge, 724-684-4877.
