White Oak crash victim identified

The victim of a fatal head-on crash on a busy state road in White Oak Thursday afternoon has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Donald Pivirotto, 59, of North Huntingdon, died as a result of the two-vehicle crash that occurred in the 3000 block of Jacks Run Road (Route 48), near a small shopping center. 

White Oak EMS and police found Pivirotto trapped inside his 2011 Nissan Sentry.

“Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene,” Allegheny County Police Lt. Venerando Costa said.
