Carolyn Marie ‘Lynne’ Delsandro – Rostraver Township

Carolyn Marie “Lynne” Delsandro, 74, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Born in Donora on Aug. 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Zelinsky Varosky. Lynn was a graduate of McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the former Monongahela Hospital, then at Kades Nursing Home in Washington, Sharon General Hospital in Sharon and Monongalia County General Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. She was an active member of the Church of St. Anne and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was also a member of the McKeesport Nurses Alumni Association. She is survived by her husband, John R. Delsandro; sons, Christopher R.(Elizabeth) Delsandro and twin sons, Dominic J. Delsandro and Daniel J. Delsandro; and grandchildren, Izaak and Claire Delsandro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Varosky; and sister, Delores Saxon Tucutich. Private visitation will be held at JAMES C. David J. Nazimek presiding, followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
