Marie Gordon Egros – Rostraver Township

Marie Gordon Egros, 93, of Rostraver Township, passed away on March 28, 2020, in the Mon Valley Care Center. She was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late James Lawrence and Sara Sweeney Gordon. Mrs. Egros was a waitress at her family’s restaurant, Sweeney’s, for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruno Egros; and a sister, Olive Pollock. Surviving are her sons, James and wife Bonnie Egros and Patrick and wife Mary Egros; grandchildren, James and wife Kelly Egros, Michael Egros, Sara and Shawn Drnjevich and Patrick and Stacey Egros; great grandchildren, Kendall and James Ryan Egros, Ella and Emersyn Drnjevich and Chase and Ava Grace Egros. Due to the current health crisis, visitation and funeral services will private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen.
