Pauline Capozza, 92, of Donora, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth, Elizabeth Township. She was born on Oct. 1, 1927, in Monessen, a daughter of the late Wassel and Elizabeth Pist Kurtak. Pauline was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Mrs. Capozza was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Edward Capozza on Oct. 27, 2019; her son, Thomas Capozza on Aug. 7, 2015; one son in-law, Glenn Kinder; five sisters and two brothers. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Marsha Kinder of Donora and Karen (Greg) Oslowski of Carroll Township; five grandchildren, April (Kinder) Wisyanski, Kevin Kinder, Chris Oslowski, Jason Oslowski and Antoinette Capozza; eight great-grandchildren, Laura, Krista, Kelsey, Kyle, Landon, Allie, Mia and Cole; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900. Our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother deserves a beautiful tribute. However we appreciate in this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic, that this would not be a socially responsible decision and in the best health interest of our family and friends.
