Whether he was stepping foot on the turf at Myron Pottios Stadium or the court at Charleroi High School, Legend Davis was always determined to make his presence felt.
Now with his high school career in the rear view mirror, Davis will look to do the same at the collegiate level.
The Charleroi senior will take his talents to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in the fall when he continues his academic and football careers at Clarion University.
Davis, the son of Larry and DeLana Davis of Charleroi, signed his national letter of intent to play for the Golden Eagles and head coach Chris Weibel on Feb. 6.
“It means the world that I can continue both my academic and athletic careers at a place where I am very comfortable at,” said Davis, who was inspired to play college football after growing up watching his cousin, Devin Goda, compete at Slippery Rock University.
“Playing football at the next level has always been something I’ve wanted to do.”
