Dionne Michelle Ross


Dionne Michelle Ross went home to Christ on Friday, March 13, 2020, at 53 years old. Dionne was born on Oct. 31, 1966, to Delaware and the late Nadine Ross. She was a 1985 graduate of Monessen High School. Dionne worked for Corning Glass Works for 26 years and most recently was employed with Anova Home Care as a personal care giver. Dionne was a member of Union Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. Dionne is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Diggs; two grandsons, Kayden Kolbeck and Davantae Smith; her father, Delaware (Christina) Ross; a brother, Delroy (Carla) Ross; a stepsister, Chavonna Rae Tartt; nephews, Delroy Ross Jr., Tory Williams, Darian Robinson; nieces, Andrea Robinson, Brianna Robinson and Alaysia Bundy; cousins, Alleen Grant and Nadine Tyree, which she considered not only cousins, but like sisters; family friends, Dorrell Smith and Jennifer Hoftovich; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Dionne was preceded in death by her mother, the late Nadine Bronson Ross and sister-in-law, Kathryn Madison Ross. The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, with a service starting at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, Pa., with the Rev. Monte Nicholson as eulogist. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa., Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
