Darla Jean Pershing – Fayette City

Darla Jean Pershing, 57, of Fayette City, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 5, 2020, in her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1962, in New Eagle, a daughter of Steve Sollosi of Elrama and the late Agnes Innes Churba. Darla attended Elizabeth Forward High School. She loved to cook, bake, listen to music, play the guitar, collect hot pepper decorations and read the Bible. In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Charles “CR” Pershing and daughter, Juliah Pershing, both of Elizabeth; and a sister, Beth Ann Sollosi of Fayette City. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Sollosi. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating.
