Marcia S. Brighenti Greco, 83, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 26, 1937, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Velma Takacs Brighenti. A resident of Belle Vernon for more than 60 years, Mrs. Greco was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Monessen. She is survived by her husband, Rudolph Greco, to whom she had been married for 61 years; son and daughter-in-law, Mario and Robin Greco of Rostraver Township; three grandchildren, Nichole and John McKenzie, Courtney and Gordon Tirpak, and Makenzie Greco. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 2, in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Joel Boco as celebrant. Interment will take place in Mon Valley Memorial Park. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of Marcia at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
