John M. Jannotta, 68, formerly of Monessen, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. He was born on June 7, 1951 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Adolph and Rebecca Manown Jannotta. John grew up in Monessen and Belle Vernon, graduating from Belle Vernon High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Fairmont State College. John worked as a finance administrator for Boy Scouts of America and later for Allstate Insurance Company. He is survived by his son, Joshua (Melaine) Jannotta of Ashland, Ky.; a brother, Joseph J. (Gay) Jannotta of Fallowfield Township; a sister, Judy (Edward) Sevon of Clearwater, Fla.; a grandson, Gabriel Jannotta; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-sister, Marie Horan. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing Monday March 2, 2020, in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
