Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday

Characters from the beloved author Dr. Seuss will be on hand at the Pleasant Hills Public Library on Saturday.

The Cat in the Hat, the Lorax and Thing One and Thing Two.

The Grinch, Horton, as well as Fox and Knox, too.

The library will celebrate the author’s birthday with a Read Across America Celebration with Dr. Seuss that will include games and crafts at 1 p.m. and special guest readers from 2:30 to 3 p.m.

The event will be the finale for the library’s and the West Jefferson Hills School District’s week-long reading celebration.
