Charlene A. Steele, 70, of McKeesport, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Feb. 27, 2020. She was born on Jan. 20, 1950, to the late Charles E. and Ann Stinson McLaughlin. An inspiring woman, Charlene enjoyed raising her family and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible. She was a longtime member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, White Oak American Legion Post No. 701, and the McKeesport Amvets Post No. 8. She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry S. Steele; loving children, Mark (Katherine Bach) Steele, Ryan (Christie Seigh) Steele, Shawna (Scott) Eisenberg and Kristen (Josh Mann) Steele of McKeesport; adoring grandchildren, Kasi, Josh, Morgan, Brenden, Blake, Caleb, Ireland, Eryn, Emily, Markie, Ashlynn and Sidney; siblings, Francis (Sandy) McLaughlin of Elizabeth Township, Charles (Jane) McLaughlin of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Patrick (Donna) McLaughlin of North Huntingdon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin McLaughlin. Friends will be received at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow.
