Regina Feryok, 93, of Monessen, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, in Havencrest Nursing Center. She was born on Aug. 17, 1926, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Hromy Sinchak. Regina was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Church. She was a member and volunteer of the Greater Monessen Historical Society, its Heritage Museum and the Mon Valley Slovak Cultural Society. In 1987, she was one of the original members of the Monessen Enterprise Zone Advisory Board and later served as secretary for the Monessen Redevelopment Authority until 2006. For many years, she operated an income tax service and was a licensed real estate agent, selling for the Macko-Hibbs Agency in Monessen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Feryok; three brothers, Stephen, Stanley and Dr. Samuel Sinchak; and a sister, Margaret Dzimiera. She is survived by her three sons, J. Allen Feryok of Monessen, Richard Feryok of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffrey Feryok of Monessen; a sister, Marian Monios of Altoona; three loving nieces, Michele DeFrancisco, Clarie Hagan, Suzanne Rhodes Kuba; and by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 to noon Saturday, Feb. 29, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave, Monessen. Services will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 29, with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Regina’s name can by made to the Monessen Public Library, 326 Donner Ave., Monessen or the Greater Monessen Historical Society, 505 Donner Ave., Monessen.
