Sha-Nikka Ti-era Dickerson, 29, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at home. How blessed we were to be given 29 years to raise such a beautiful and loving young woman who touched so many lives. She was born July 11, 1990, to Raymond A. Dickerson Sr. and Kay “Kayce” Allen of Monessen. Sha-Nikka was a Monessen graduate, Class of 2008, and was a cheerleader and on the track team. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church junior choir and mime group. She was employed at St. Clair Hospital as a C.N.A. She loved to be with her family and friends. She was an avid Steelers fan. Her smile was contagious, her personality was endearing and her love for her family and friends was enduring. Her most and best accomplishment in life was her son and best friend. In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory one son, Michael John Hairston of Pittsburgh; brother, Raymond A. Dickerson Jr.; sister, Cheyenne Fields; nephew, Jayce A. Dickerson; godson, Desmond Payne Jr.; grandfather, Charles Dickerson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Patricia Boyer-Dickerson, Clyde Davis and Geraldine Allen. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at Union Baptist Church, 670 McMahon Ave., Monessen, at which time services will take place. The Rev. Brandon Humpheries will give the eulogy. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen, PA 15062, Trudy L.
