Around the Table South planned

Organizations in the Mon Valley and South Hills looking to make their communities stronger can attend the Jefferson Regional Host Kick-Off and Celebration from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday at South Hills Country Club.

The event signals the start of the foundation’s Around the Table South for 2020, which will take place from March 18 to 24.

Friday’s event will feature guidelines, tips, resources and refreshments, as well as guest speaker Rep. Austin Davis, D-McKeesport.

There will also be an optional skill-building workshop led by nonprofit consultant Leslie Bonner titled “Facilitating Community Conversations” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. before the kick-off event.
