The drivers pick up customers’ orders at participating restaurants and sandwich shops made through a downloaded app and deliver them. The customer no longer has to leave the house when ordering food.

Dennis J. Kenney of Donora is one of the many people who have joined the Doordash team to make extra money as a “dasher.” He joined Doordash in July 2019.

Kenney really enjoyed the job, which he did mostly in the Pittsburgh and South Hills areas. He chose those areas to deliver because he said it was a hot spot for being busy and having the best chance of making money.
