Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township
Albert W. Sadler Sr., 73, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1947, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Mortimer and Charlette Wilson Sadler. A lifelong resident of the Mon Valley, Mr. Sadler was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport plant, where he worked as a laborer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Smithton VFW. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Albert W. Sadler Jr. and wife Karen of Greensboro and Richard Sadler of New Stanton; and two step-grandchildren, Megan Silbaugh and Justin Silbaugh. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Walters Sadler (April 1995); and a sister, Lois Poliquin. A memorial service will be private for the family, followed by interment at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
