Betty L. Harger Swaney – Monessen

Betty L. Harger Swaney, 92, of Monessen, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, in Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Monongahela. She was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle Kennedy Harger. Betty had worked as a bartender locally and had lived for a           while in Michigan at one time. Surviving is a daughter, Carol Wolford and her husband Buzzy; four grandchildren, Carla Kucmeroski, Robert Wolford, Christine Conrad and Thomas Brandon; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Brandon and eight siblings.
