Derrick A. Dow, 41, of Donora, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, in Donora. He was born in North Charleroi on July 26, 1978, the son of Larry Dunseath and the late Cynthia Gwendolyn Dow. Derrick was the owner/operator of Mud Dawg Contracting. He developed a real love of football while playing for the Ringgold Rams High School team and then for the Potomac State College Catamounts in West Virginia. Derrick loved music, family cookouts and most of all spending time with his fiancée, Victoria Cochran, and his children. In addition to his mother, Derrick was preceded in death by his sister, Cherese Dow; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Surviving to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Victoria Cochran; his children, Malik Stephens, Dominique Dow, Damien Dow and D’Angelo Dow; his father, Larry Dunseath; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where a remembrance gathering will be held to celebrate Derrick’s Life from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.
