Harry A. “Butch” Lusk, 79, of Monongahela, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, in his residence. Born Oct. 25, 1940, in New Eagle, he was the son of the late William and Ethel Hank Lusk. A 1959 graduate of Monongahela High School, Butch worked for over 35 years as a maintenance operator for Enviro Source in Elrama until his retirement in 2007. A United States Army veteran, Butch enjoyed hunting with his buddies when he was younger and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Monongahela. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Maureen Mumbray Lusk; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Lisa Lusk of Carroll Township and Mark and Shannon Lusk of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Paula Roberts of Monessen and Nikki Williams of Monongahela; a brother, James (Ellie) Lusk of Florida; a sister, Mary M. (Michael) Joseph of Los Angeles; and seven grandchildren, Alan and Sierra Roberts, Dean Jr., Lindsay, Sidney and Angela Lusk and Emily Williams. Preceding him in death were his two sisters, Linda Appel and Rochelle Lusk. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, with military honors conducted by the Mon Valley Honor Guard and Firing Squad.
