Debora J. Stein – Allenport

Debora J. Stein, 70, of Allenport, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020. at Excela Health, Latrobe. Born in North Charleroi on Sept. 30, 1949, she was the daughter of Norbert and Bessie Stark Flaherty. Debora was Catholic by faith. She was retired from Mon View Medical Center Monongahela. Debora lived for her granddaughters and enjoyed traveling and gambling. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Stein of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Frank Stein of Allenport; two granddaughters, Kayla and Jenelle Stein; two brothers, Fred Mische of Fallowfield Township, and Walter Mische of Elco; and one sister, Penny Kent of Roscoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Stein; her life partner, George Apodiakis; and three sisters, Lorna Morgan, Tina Flaherty King and Lena Flaherty. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC.,1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 20202, with Pastor Rick Bowser presiding. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Coal Center. Online condolences may be expressed at www.melenyzer.com.
