Entering Tuesday night’s Section 2-2A matchup, both California and Chartiers-Houston had their backs firmly against the wall.
The two teams find themselves jammed in the middle of the standings and were in need of a big win.

Chartiers-Houston turned the ball over 26 times and missed several layups while the Trojans took advantage, to come away with a 60-55 win.
“We came out to play and we shot very well in the first half,” said California coach Aaron Balla. “We only had two turnovers in the first quarter and I think that really contributed. Ball control was a crucial element.”
