John M. Petrosky – Belle Vernon

John M. Petrosky, 48, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, after a lengthy illness with his family by his side. A son of the late Stanley Petrosky and Donna Baker Petrosky who survives and resides in North Belle Vernon, he was born in New Eagle on May 15, 1971. John and his family moved to the Belle Vernon area in 2002, after growing up in Ohio. He was a car salesman in the Pittsburgh area for many years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Stephanie Ford Petrosky; three daughters, Anastasia Petrosky of Belle Vernon, Alexandria Petrosky and her fiancé Brandon Obley of Brentwood, and Victoria Petrosky of Belle Vernon; a son, Mitchell Dombrowski of Meadville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Liam McCullough, Bryce Obley and Gaberiel Petrosky; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bryan and Michele Petrosky of Fayette City, and Rick Petrosky of North Belle Vernon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Ludwig, in 2014. Friends will be received on from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Wade officiating. Inurnment will be private in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
