As the one-year anniversary of the violent death of their Shiloh shepherd draws near, a Washington Township family was left “shocked and heartbroken” as charges against the man accused of killing Otto were dismissed Thursday.
Holly Miller, one of Otto’s owners, and nearly a dozen friends and family members filled the waiting area of Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr.’s office in Connellsville awaiting the hearing for Michael A. Zadrozny, 53, of Fayette City.
Zadrozny was charged with one third-degree felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals in October.
Zadrozny was also scheduled to appear in a second case for harassment involving Miller and her family.
