Stephen M. Uhor Sr., 68, “The Best There Ever Was and The Best There Ever Will Be,” of Belle Vernon, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on April 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Michael and Catherine Sergi Uhor Sr. Steve lived all of his life in Belle Vernon, graduating in 1969. He worked at Guardian Industries until 2013 and previously worked at Sony and Allenport and various other jobs. Steve’s greatest joy were his kids; he loved each and every one of them. Steve’s other great love was working on cars. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and son, Faye and Jeremy Clark; son, Steve Jr. (Frances, Shane, Tammy, Carly and Grayson); daughters, Tam(a)ra Uhor (Jerome Dean) and Tanya Uhor, who are the children of Tammy Chalfant; grandsons, Riley Uhor and Camron Dean; sister, Michele (Dennis) Bennett; brother, Michael (Debbie) Uhor; sisters-in-law, Monica (Eugene) Streets, Shelly (David) Veltre-Miller and Hope (Larry) Magone; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were held at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
