Tractor-trailer accident snarls Interstate 70 traffic

There were restrictions on both Interstate 70 and the Mon-Fayette Expressway Monday night after a tractor trailer overturned on I-70.
According to Fallowfield Township Fire Chief Anthony Fleming, the accident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle occurred in the westbound lanes.
Both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane were closed for a while. By 9:30, the scene was cleared and all lanes were open to traffic, Fleming said.
Fleming said the drivers of the two vehicles had minor injuries. The truck had a non-hazardous load that did not spill onto the roadway.
