Local hockey standouts named PIHL All Stars

Fourteen local hockey players will get the opportunity to play in the PIHL Class A and Class B all-star games at Robert Morris University Island Sports Center Jan. 26.
Thomas Jefferson had representatives selected to the Class A all-star game. They are forwards Hunter Fairman, Eddie Pazo, Riley Holzer and Will O’Brien, and goaltender Luke Ripepi.
Elizabeth Forward’s trio of forwards Michael Vasko and Tayte Donovan, and defenseman Lucas Kearns will join Ringgold’s group of six all stars in forwards Justin Day, Evan Eberlein, Brad Bujdos and Nathan Todd, defenseman Hunter Suarez and goaltender Chad DeGroen. The nine local standouts were named to the Class B all-star team.
All four TJ forwards named to the all-star team rank within the top 10 in scoring in Class A.
