Cougars end skid with win over rival Greyhounds

A pair of streaks were broken in a matchup between a pair of area rivals Saturday afternoon.
Charleroi put an end to its three-game losing streak by earning a 46-33 victory over Monessen, which saw its five-game winning streak come to an end in non-section play.
The Cougars (7-5) held a slim 26-23 lead after three quarters before outscoring the Greyhounds, 20-10, in the final eight minutes.
Bella Skobel paced Charleroi with a game-high 20 points, while teammate Hannah Keranko added nine.
