Kenneth J. Davis Jr., formerly of Detroit, Michigan, moved back to Donora in April 2018. He was residing with his sister and has departed this life at the age of 82 at Henry Clay Skilled Nursing Home in Markleysburg on Jan. 8, 2020. Kenneth was a graduate of the former Donora High School, class of 1955 and played football for the Donora Dragons. “Bogay,” as he was known by his family and friends, was born Jan. 29, 1937. He was the son of the late Kenneth J. Davis Sr. and Fostella Davis Palmer. He leaves to mourn his life a daughter, Karen Johnson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Davis and Emma Fraley, both of Donora; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Chapel viewing is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, with service starting at 5 p.m. at House of Jackson Memorial Chapel. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, 724-379-5420, Karl Jackson, funeral director.
