Bray reaches 1,000 rebound mark in Tigers’ victory

McKeesport’s Jhayla Bray reached the 1,000 rebound plateau with a double-double in McKeesport’s 66-34 victory over East Allegheny at the Jamfest at Penn Hills Saturday afternoon.

Bray, who now has over 1,000 career points and rebounds, finished with a game-high 20 points and 18 boards in the victory. Laila Taylor and Avionna Menifee each added 14 points for the Tigers (7-4), who have won four of their last six games. 

Abby Henderson led the way for EA (4-6) with 14 points, while Amaia Johnson finished with 10. 

McKeesport trailed by three after one quarter of play before outscoring East Allegheny, 56-21, in the final three quarters.
