Olive Bracken – Charleroi

Olive Bracken, 96, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020. Born on Dec. 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene Blazier. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was retired from PNC Bank. She is survived by daughters, Barb (Charles) Bigi, of Fallowfield Township, and Elaine (Dal) Koch, of Pine, Ariz.; son, George Bracken, of Edgewood, Md.; sister, Mary Jane Busser, of Grotten, Mass.; grandchildren, George Bracken, Jessica Zile and Shannin Koch; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George Bracken; sister, Dorothy Fleischauer; brother, James Blazier; and grandson, Erin Koch. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi (formerly Mary, Mother of the Church), with private interment following in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
