Elizabeth R. McGowan – Heath, Ohio

Elizabeth R. McGowan, 84, of Heath, Ohio, died Dec. 25, 2019, in Chapel Grove Nursing Home. Born in Monessen on Aug. 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean Siarnicki O’Hare. She retired from New York Life Insurance Co and Gruman Aircraft. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie “John” O’ Hare. She is survived by cousins, Wayne and Betty Siarnicki, Joan Spehar, Delores Shirey, Chris Vargas, Ronald Siarnicki, Rosemary Clark and Pattie O’Neil. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Father Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
