Richard ‘Whitey’ Barber – Stockdale

Richard “Whitey” Barber, 52, of Stockdale, passed away on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on April 20, 1967, he was the son of the late Richard and Judith Ann Kolick Barber. Richard was a former employee of Equipment Transportation in Washington. He was Catholic by faith. He was an all-around outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. Richard loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Schinabeck Barber; a son, Shane Scott Barber; a daughter, Shaylee Mae Barber; a sister, Beatrice Barber Holma of Allenport; and his niece, Amanda Holma. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, with funeral services at noon at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe.
