Elizabeth Forward junior Kaitlin Fournier will be heading south when she graduates in the spring of 2021.
Fournier recently announced on social media that she has verbally committed to continue her academic and volleyball careers at the University of Georgia.
The Bulldogs went 20-10 overall and 12-6 in Southeastern Conference play under head coach Tom Black this season.
“Knowing that I am able to continue my athletic and academic careers at a school like Georgia is a dream come true,” said Fournier, who also received offers from the University of Memphis and American University.
“I have always been very fascinated by the SEC schools and now being able to be a part of that is so surreal. Not only will I get great coaching from a high-level coaching staff, but I will get great academic support to be successful in the classroom as well.”
