William Shoman – formerly of Rostraver Township

William Shoman, 86, formerly of Rostraver Township, died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at Hallsworth House Monessen. Born in Fairhope on October 21, 1933, he was the son of Nicholas and Luba Mihelic Shoman. William was retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport. He was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to baseball. William is survived by his niece and caretaker, Deborah Nicklin; three nephews, Kenneth Spina, Bob Shoman and Ronnie Shoman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Mudrick Shoman, in 2016; two brothers, James and Nick Shoman; two sisters, Mary Spina and Barbara Cunningham; and a niece, Bonnie Spina. There will be no public visitation. Interment will be at Monongahela Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., Charleroi.
