In what she called a “must-win game” on Monday, Lindsy Muchnock easily summed up her Ringgold girls’ section contest against West Mifflin Thursday.

“It seemed like there was a lid on the basket,” Muchnock said.

The Rams failed to crack 30 points for the second straight game, falling to section foe West Mifflin, 38-26, continuing the Rams’ search for their first section win.

Despite the loss, Muchnock took some positives away from the game featuring poor offensive output.

“We know sometimes we go on scoring droughts, so we lean on our defense, and I thought defensively we played pretty well,” said Muchnock “We held them to under 40 points so I thought it was there.”
