Dolores J. Kolodziej – McKeesport

Dolores J. Kolodziej, 88, of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born Nov. 4, 1931, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Marion Sorocko Dwornick. A member of Corpus Christi Parish who also attended St. Patrick’s Church, Dolores worked as a secretary in the warehouse office for G.C. Murphy & Co. in McKeesport. Her family will remember her giving heart and her many, many friends. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kolodziej; and her brothers, Ray and Tom Dwornick. She is survived by her son, Ronald J. Kolodziej of McKeesport; her sister, Lorraine Dwornick Jesionowski of Versailles; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Visitation for Dolores is private at the request of the family. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, in St. Patrick’s Church, McKeesport, with Father Terry O’Connor officiating.
