Dolores J. Kolodziej – McKeesport
Dolores J. Kolodziej, 88, of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, in Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born Nov. 4, 1931, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Marion Sorocko Dwornick. A member of Corpus Christi Parish who also attended St. Patrick’s Church, Dolores worked as a secretary in the warehouse office for G.C. Murphy & Co. in McKeesport. Her family will remember her giving heart and her many, many friends. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kolodziej; and her brothers, Ray and Tom Dwornick. She is survived by her son, Ronald J. Kolodziej of McKeesport; her sister, Lorraine Dwornick Jesionowski of Versailles; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Visitation for Dolores is private at the request of the family. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, in St. Patrick’s Church, McKeesport, with Father Terry O’Connor officiating. Procession and burial will follow to St. Mary’s Polish Cemetery, White Oak. Arrangements by DANIEL F.
