Charles D. Sleith Jr., 53, of Charleroi (Carroll Township), died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 in his residence, from health related complications. Born Sept. 19, 1966 in Monongahela, he is the son of Charles D. (Robin) Sleith Sr. of Carroll Township and the late Lorraine J. “Lorrie” Collins, who died Dec.18, 2017. A 1984 graduate of Ringgold High School, Chuck was self-employed and worked for many years as a carpet installer around the valley. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, but most of all riding his Harley. Surviving in addition to his father is a daughter, Shannon N. Sleith of Donora; a brother, Robert F. Sleith of New Eagle; step-brothers, Chad (Jessica) Mertz of Belle Vernon and Ryan Mertz of Florida; a niece, Devin McCune of New Eagle; his former wife, Marsha Bigi of Donora; and his dog, Felonie.
