Monessen
Stephen G. Lancas, 84, Monessen, died on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, in Victoria House, Monessen. He was born on June 9, 1935, in Monessen, the son of the late Stephen J. and Susan M. Matuschak Lancas. Stephen was a lifelong resident of Monessen and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Church. He enjoyed spending time at TAC in Charleroi and looking at automobile magazines. Stephen loved to bowl and competed in the Special Olympics. He is survived by several cousins. Friends will be received in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will followed in Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen. The family would like to thank the care givers at TAC in Charleroi, the Victoria House and Amedysis Hospice for the wonderful care given to Stephen.
