Thomas Jefferson’s hockey team is certainly not short on confidence. But on Monday, the Jaguars wanted to prove something. They wanted to prove that they were the best team in the PIHL’s Class A.
Against Bishop McCort, they might have done just that.
The Jaguars dominated a previously one-loss Crushers team, cruising to a 7-0 win to improve to 11-1 on the season.
Considering the competition and the Jaguars’ level of play, it was likely their best game of the season.
“We knew they were good and it was going to be a good game and they have a lot of talent,” said Thomas Jefferson coach Bill Crousey.
“That was probably our most complete effort on both ends, all 200 feet of the rink. I think we put it all together tonight.”
