Donora
Roseann Steefe Cochran, 86, of Donora, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019. She was born on July 24, 1933 in Donora, and was a daughter of the late Louis and Philomena Valeri Steefe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Cochran and her loving sister, Virginia Ince. She was a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri/Our Lady of the Valley Church. In her later years, she remained active and very much enjoyed participating as a volunteer with The Foster Grandparent Program through Head Start in Donora. She loved spending time with family and was always up for a shopping trip or an outing at the casino. Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Robert (Sharon) Cochran of Uniontown, James (Beth) Cochran of Donora, and Paul Cochran (Phyllis Monack) of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Natalie (Nicholas), Victoria (Derrick), and James (Mykel); three great-grandsons, Liam, Damien and D’Angelo; loving sister, Mary Pantoni; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, 724-379-6900, where family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
