Tigers drop Warriors, 53-45

The play of Laila Taylor and Jhayla Bray helped carry McKeesport past Penn-Trafford, 53-45, on the final day of the Tigers’ home tournament Saturday.
Taylor poured in a game high 21 points, while Bray added a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting a whopping 19 rebounds for the Tigers (2-0).
McKeesport held a 23-21 lead at halftime before outscoring the Warriors, 30-24, in the second half.
Allie Prady scored a team-high 15 points for PT (1-1), while Bella Long chipped in with 11.
McKeesport travels to Baldwin on Tuesday.
