Jefferson Hills council to vote on budget tonight

Jefferson Hills borough council is getting ready to approve its 2020 final budget, and the final numbers do not include a tax increase from last year’s budget.
Council will vote on the budget in final form at tonight’s meeting.
The balanced budget, revealed in Wednesday’s agenda meeting, includes expenditures and revenues of approximately $10.7 million.
The base real estate tax rate for 2020 would be established at 5.66 mills, with the general fund coming in at 5.226 mills, fire services receiving .355 mills and the borough’s ambulance service receiving .079 mills.
