Mary Jane Gallagher, 89, of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019. Born on Jan. 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Gass. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was a retired secretary for SuperValu. She is survived by children, Pat Gallagher of Speers and Karen (James) Carson of Carroll Township; grandchildren, Kristen (Rob) Gordy, Devon Carson and Craig Carson; great-grandchildren, Ryland and Isla Carson, Kenzley Gordy and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, John “Jack” Gallagher; and brother, Charles “Dick” Gass. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec.10, in CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
