Monessen
David S. Maatta, 67, of Monessen, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at home. He was born Sept. 16, 1952, in Monongahela, son of the late Wiljo E. and Mary Chuberka Maatta. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Patricia Maatta of Latrobe and Timothy and Christin Maatta of Rostraver Township; and nieces and nephews, Alex and Haley Maatta, Victoria Maatta, Thomas Maatta, Rebecca Maatta, Stephen Maatta and Mary Cavanagh. Per David’s wishes, funeral services are private. RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at rhomefuneralhome.com.
