Dennis W. Petrisin, 70, of West Newton, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 in AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born in McKeesport on Oct. 30, 1949, he was the son of Mildred Bendik Petrisin, who resides in Clairton, and the late Jerome John Petrisin. A 1967 graduate of Serra Catholic High School, Dennis graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing administration. He was a retired letter carrier from Pleasant Hills Post Office. A member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver, he was a former member of the Clairton American Legion and was a proud Eagle Scout. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Petrisin; daughters, Rachel (Tyler) Peters of Easton, Pa.; and Michele (Adam Bridge) Petrisin of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Adam Bridge, Treyson Peters and Cicilia Peters; brothers, Gerald (Alena) Petrisin of Fort Myers, Fla.; Raymond (Cheryl) Petrisin of Morgantown, W.Va.; John (Karen) Petrisin of Venetia; and Robert Petrisin of Temecula, Calif.; nieces and nephews, J R Petrisin, Tyler (Katie) Petrisin, Kaylynn (Zach) Johnson, Matthew Petrisin, Lauren Petrisin, Danielle (Bill) Altman, Nicole (Rick) Ruiz and Evyn Petrisin; great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Brayden, Michaela, Grace, Abigail and Enrique Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 in JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934. www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in the Church of St. Anne with the  Rev. David J. Nazimek presiding.  Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
