David T. Ludwick – Donora

David T. Ludwick, 64, of Donora, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019. He was born in Charleroi on April 4, 1955, a son of the late Arthur and Angela Hess Ludwick. Dave worked for 16 years for Donora Lumber Company and most recently as a craneman in the oil field. Dave was known for his huge heart and willingness to help anyone. He was a great handyman who loved woodworking. Dave was a member of the Croatian Club in Donora, St. Dominic’s Men’s Club, the Monessen Eagles, the Italian Club, and the Ukrainian Club. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Donna Szakal Demis Ludwick; two children, Amie Ludwick and Brian Ludwick, both of Monongahela; his grandson, Christian Ludwick; and many friends who loved him. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, 724-379-6900; where family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019. A service will be held at 8 p.m. in the funeral home on Monday with Dave’s brother in-law, the Rev. Father Robert Hanna officiating.
