Mellinger headlines talented Tigers’ squad

The McKeesport Area wrestling team returns a good mix of veterans teamed with a talented group of newcomers, as 11-year coach Adam Alfer hopes to build off last season’s 7-5 record.
The Tigers return five seniors, including three returning starters.
Headlining the group are captains Andy Mellinger and Clayton Holloway. Mellinger, a two time WPIAL Qualifier at 220 pounds, was 23-7 a year ago. Holloway is a four-year starter and will be at 160 pounds. He was 17-9 last season.
